The World's Fastest Indian is a 2005 New Zealand biographical film based on the Invercargill, New Zealand speed bike racer Burt Munro and his highly modified Indian Scoutmotorcycle.

A wonderful movie with (Sir) Anthony Hopkins as Burt Munroe, a New Zealander who built his 1920 Indian Scout Motorcycle into the fastest motorcycle (under 1000cc) at the bonneville flats in Utah in 1962. Burt Munroe is a genuine local hero.
