Neptune's Daughter is a 1914 American silent fantasy film featuring the first collaboration between actress Annette Kellerman and director Herbert Brenon.

The daughter of King Neptune determines to avenge the death of her sister, who was caught in a fishing net laid by the king of a country above the waves. However, she soon falls in love with the king upon whom she planned to take her revenge. Neptune's Daughter was based on Annette Kellerman's idea of "a water fantasy movie with beautiful mermaids in King Neptune's garden together with a good love story."

Marie de Flor (MacDonald), a glamorous Canadian prima donna, is renowned for her beauty, exquisite voice and fierce temperament. When news arrives that her brother Jack (Jimmy Stewart in one of his earliest screen roles) has been wounded in a prison escape, Marie realizes she must go to him despite the danger. Lured into the wilderness, she encounters Sgt. Bruce (Eddy), who is hunting the fugitive. Sgt. Bruce is soon hot on Marie's trail as well! The New York Times called Rose-Marie a "blithely melodious film rich in scenic beauty." And after all these years, this rugged romance is as wonderful as ever.

Found in May 2011- at first was thought to be another lost clip from Theda Bara's Cleopatra - had many film archives confounded then finally identified as The Queen Of Sheba also lost directed by J Gordon Edwards .
